STEM Genius supports students through preparatory training and assessment as an authorised training partner and assessment centre.
Certification gives parents and students a clearer checkpoint than simply completing lessons. The assessment provides structured feedback on demonstrated coding proficiency.
The best starting point depends on age, coding experience and whether your child is following the CodeMonkey or Python pathway.
Recommended age: 5–7
An introductory pathway for younger learners developing early coding and computational-thinking foundations.
Recommended age: 8+

Establishes foundational understanding of coding concepts and computer science fundamentals.
2
Elite Coder Level 2
Builds on foundational skills with more demanding coding concepts and problem-solving.
3
Certified Elite Coder
The advanced assessment level for students demonstrating deeper coding competency.
Each certification level includes the preparation and assessment components needed for that level.
Structured preparation by an authorised training partner before the assessment.
Assessment conducted through an authorised Elite Coder assessment centre.
A proficiency scorecard and e-certification awarded after completion of the relevant assessment level.
A short introduction to the Elite Coder certification pathway.
Certification is most useful when it complements real learning rather than replacing it.
Give students and parents an external checkpoint on demonstrated coding proficiency.
Preparing for assessment encourages students to consolidate what they know and explain their thinking.
Certification can complement projects, coding classes and competition experience as evidence of sustained learning.
Rather than publishing fixed dates that quickly become outdated, we recommend checking the next available preparation and assessment schedule with us.
Tell us your child’s age, current coding experience and preferred centre, and we’ll advise on a suitable pathway and upcoming intake.
