6 to 10 Years Old

Kids World of Robotic

Age: 6 - 10 Years Old
Duration: 90 Minutes
Level: Basic

Welcome to the world of robotics where kids will learn to program different types of educational robots (Ozobot bit and Mbot etc) and understand programming concepts like sequence and loops. Kids will also develop critical thinking through solving our robotic challenges and learn science and technology in our virtual classroom for every lesson.

Collaborating

Collaborative projects where kids will work in group to solve challenges.

WeDo 2.0 was designed to teach students about STEM basics. The LEGO WeDo Construction Kit is a simple robotics tool designed for ages 7–11. It allows users to design their own interactive machines using the Lego WeDo bricks and motors, and then program them using drag-and-drop software like Scratch.

2. Ozobot

Ozobot is one of the world’s smallest programmable educational robot and is used to teach kids programming. Ozobot can identify lines, colors, and codes on both digital surfaces, such as an iPad, and physical surfaces, such as paper. Ozobots can be coded two ways: online with Ozobot Blockly and screen-free with Color Codes. Student will program this little fun robot to complete challenges and learn about STEM.

Mbot is designed for students to learn electronics, robotics and programming in an interactive and fun way. Built around the Arduino open-source platform, it’s designed to induct kids into the fields of robotics and programming. From scratch to Arduino, mBot can move around and avoid obstacles on its own, follow a line on the ground or just accept commands from the supplied IR remote controller.

What is Scratch

Scratch  is a visual programming language created by the Lifelong Kindergarten group at MIT Media lab for kids to learn coding. Scratch allows students to create their own interactive stories, games and animations. As students design Scratch projects, they learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively.

Pre schooler (5-6 yrs) will be using Scratch Jr which is a mobile application and is a simpler version of scratch which is specially design for younger children to learn coding.
